Raven's Confession

I am just a raven
Punished for my sins
Exiled from heaven
I wander the Earth

I get stoned by children
I get shot by others
I am feared by most
But adored by some

I fly and spread my sadness
That ripples the eternal darkness
They think that I bring evil
While I come from heaven

It's hard to be an outcast
In a land of ignorant
I wish they'd open their hearts
And look above and beyond

I am just a raven
